Refund Policy

1. Overview

Meroni Swing (the "Service") acts as an intermediary platform for lesson and event registrations and supports refund processing on behalf of organizers.

Refund conditions are governed by each organizer's individual policy. This page describes the default refund standards that apply across the Service. Where an individual lesson or event policy differs from these defaults, the organizer's policy takes precedence.

2. Lesson Refunds

Refunds for lesson registration cancellations are processed according to the following schedule:

  • More than 7 days before the lesson starts: Full refund is available under the Korean Electronic Commerce Act (7-day cancellation right).
  • 3–7 days before the lesson starts: 50% of the payment amount is refunded.
  • Less than 3 days before the lesson starts: No refund. However, in cases of unavoidable circumstances (e.g., hospitalization of the member or immediate family), a partial refund may be available upon submission of supporting documentation, subject to agreement with the organizer.
  • Mid-course cancellation: Refunds may be prorated based on remaining sessions. Specific terms follow the lesson's individual refund policy.

3. Event Refunds

Refunds for event registration cancellations are processed according to the following schedule:

  • More than 14 days before the event: Full refund.
  • 7–14 days before the event: 50% of the payment amount is refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before the event: No refund. However, if the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer, a full refund will be issued.

If an individual event's refund policy differs from these defaults, it will be clearly stated on the event registration page.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to "My Registrations" in the Service and select the relevant lesson or event.
  2. Click the cancellation request button and enter the reason.
  3. If the in-app process is unavailable, you may contact us directly:

    • Subject: [Refund Request] Lesson/event name and registration date

5. Processing Time

After a refund request is approved, the time to complete the refund varies by payment method:

  • Credit/debit card: 3–5 business days from approval (may vary depending on the card issuer's schedule)
  • Bank transfer: 1–3 business days from approval
  • Digital wallets (KakaoPay, Toss, etc.): Varies by provider policy

6. Exceptions

The following cases are handled separately or may affect refund eligibility:

  • Organizer cancellation: If a lesson or event is cancelled by the organizer, a full refund will be issued.
  • Force majeure: If an event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond anyone's control (e.g., natural disasters), refund eligibility is determined by the organizer's policy.
  • Unavoidable personal circumstances: In cases such as sudden hospitalization of the member or immediate family, partial refunds may be reviewed upon submission of supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificate).
  • Unauthorized payment: If you did not authorize a charge, please report it immediately with supporting evidence. A full refund will be processed upon verification.
