Camp Jitterbug is an annual Jazz & Swing Dance Festival celebrating Black vernacular Jazz and Swing dances. Our mission is to bring together Jazz dance enthusiasts from all over the world to celebrate this art form through workshops, live music, lectures, social dances, competitions, performances and more, featuring top instructors, musicians and lecturers. We are dedicated to providing a vibrant and inclusive space for dancers to connect, learn, and share their passion for dance. 2026 marks the 100 year anniversary of the Savoy Ballroom. We are honored to celebrate this momentous and historical anniversary with Savoy Ballroom Legends Sugar Sullivan and Barbara Billups. The wonderful Chester Whitmore will help lead the celebration featuring Savoy Ballroom inspired classes, performances, lectures and live music. The festivities will take place during Camp Jitterbug and specifically on Sunday, May 24th. Stay tuned for more details to come!
